Who We Are
The Metropolitan New York Macintosh Alliance was formed in 2001 to provide a community for Macintosh computer users in the New York area. Our goal is to provide opportunities to come together to share information, ask questions, and help each other gain the most from our computers.
What We Do
MetroMac offers a variety of ways for members to share information and help one another:
We are an officially recognized Apple User Group, and can publicize special User Group discounts and Offers to our members. Keep informed about our events and offerings by Signing Up as a MetroMac Alliance member.
We sponsor Message Forums where you can ask questions of fellow members and experts, offer comments on new Macintosh products and software, or discuss anything related to the world of computers.
We publish and distribute eZines and digital Newsletters containing product reviews, tutorials and perspective on the state of the Macintosh universe, all authored by fellow members.
We hold regular in-person Meetings in New York City, providing members a chance to meet and share their ideas, thoughts and problems with each other, and learn about new developments in the Macintosh industry.
We maintain a Calendar of Events of interest to Mac users in our area. Send an email to to have your event listed.
Membership is Free!
